Five-time Microsoft MVP is Frequency Foundry’s New VP of Engineering

CALGARY, Canada – March 11, 2019 –

Frequency Foundry Inc. is proud to announce the newest member of the product development team, Simon Timms, who will be joining the Foundry as the VP of Engineering. Simon will be based out of the Calgary headquarters and will be managing the global engineering team spread across multiple geographies. The five-time Microsoft MVP and .NET guru brings over 15 years of experience in creating, managing and deploying software across a diverse set of industries.

He will provide a strategic engineering vision, leadership, and drive innovation across the Foundry’s product portfolio.

“Simon and his team will continue to enhance the engineering quality and strength by combining innovation with the power of the Microsoft technology stack and build on our successes even further. With his leadership, I’m confident that the industries we serve are not only going to catch up to today, but they will be prepared for tomorrow. This is an exciting time and the rapid pace of growth we are experiencing at the Foundry required us to have a leader capable of driving the Foundry ethos and vision from a technology perspective, and we are excited for what Simon brings to the table.” said Shekar Kadaba, CEO of Frequency Foundry.

Simon’s experience, expertise, and knowledge in developing and deploying large scale distributed systems to a variety of cloud vendors will be valuable in continuing the evolution of Frequency Foundry’s four offerings – greymatter, Signal, grantworks, and Prosper, and adding new business focused solutions moving forward. The head of the Calgary .NET user group brings a customer first mindset to the company, which aligns with Frequency Foundry’s tradition of creating wow customer experiences.

“I look forward to working with the fantastic team at Frequency Foundry” says Simon. “The company is quickly becoming the go-to for high-quality CRM solutions for both the public & higher education sectors, and there is no doubt in my mind that we will continue on this successful path as we consistently advance our products”.

Simon holds an honors degree in computing science from the University of Alberta and a master’s degree in information systems from Athabasca University.
